After his teacher training, Kobe Vanroy  became lecturer at his former teacher academy and started to train students in the educational field. In this function, he made his first, then theoretical, steps in the world of autism. But he became so interested in autism, he made the switch to KIDS, a special school with classes for children and teens with autism, where he worked as a teacher, counsellor and, later on, member of the coordinating educational staff. While educating adolescents with ASD in all kinds of academic, functional, practical and social skills, Kobe attended various trainings in ASD, and education, but also in solution-focused counseling and talent discovery, broadening his scope beyond teaching. Even today, Kobe is enrolled in a psychology focus training.  In 2009, Kobe Vanroy brought his practical knowledge and experience in the field of autism and education to Autisme Centraal, where he is now responsible for several specialized and customized training courses, lectures and workshops.
