What is the Autism Experience Circuit?


Our Autism Experience Circuit (ABC) gives you a glimpse into the world as experienced by people with autism, through practical assignments. Although you can never fully experience what it means to be autistic, these assignments help you understand how the world can be perceived and how that can feel. The circuit opens the door to mutual understanding and promotes more harmonious collaboration. Experience, for example, how fast language can come at you, how many stimuli you have to process, how it feels when a routine is broken, or how confusing a situation can be without a clear overview.

Our boxes have been developed in collaboration with Magis 3 and the workshop of the Forensic Psychiatric Centre Ghent. The proceeds from the sale of our kit  go entirely to the support fund for the patients of FPC Antwerp and FPC Ghent.
