As a trainer, Gijs likes to share practical examples to give participants more tools regarding autism and to make the world a little more autism-friendly step by step. Seeing the possibilities and helping someone take the first step is what continues to challenge Gijs in his work as a social worker.

Gijs studied social pedagogical assistance in Amsterdam and has been working with people with ASD since 2014. He has experience in residential groups and is still working as a social worker.
