Marthe Thuysbaert

‘Every person is unique. People with autism are no different.’

Marthe works as a psychiatric nurse in a residential setting. Her interest in autism grew through her work, as she encounters it every day as a nurse.

For Marthe, looking at things through an autism-friendly lens is essential to support these people as well as possible during a psychiatric admission. She enjoys sharing her experience with others, to take one more step towards an autism-friendly society.

In her free time, she loves working with clay and discovering culture and nature while travelling. But it’s while cooking that Marthe truly unwinds.
